Rajasthan: Congress trumps BJP in state municipal body elections

The ruling Congress in Rajasthan won an absolute majority in 21 of the 49 municipal bodies and emerged as the largest party in another nine when the results of local body elections held on November 16 were announced on Tuesday. Opposition BJP got a majority in just six local bodies and emerged as the largest party in nine others.
