
As thousands of migratory water birds continue to fall prey to avian botulism reported for the first time in India, there is a growing apprehension amongst bird lovers and experts regarding the previously safe habitat for the winged species at Sambhar Lake. The number of dead birds which has crossed over 15,000 has become a cause of concern for both the state and central governments.
